Welcome to ART/COM 150 Course Blogspot
We're delighted you enrolled in this course. And this semester is especially exciting because we're introducing different technologies from what we've used in the past to teach digital storytelling. This blog space is one such tool.
Here you will post some of your story assignments. We'll also ask you to reflect on prompts that we provide. In a sense, we're asking that you help us build this blog into a useful space for displaying and reflecting on our storied lives.
Another BIG change is that we're using Apple iPads in this course. You'll learn how to use simple apps to support the telling of personal narratives.
So what do you need from you? An open-mind, a willingness to take risk and experiment with these technical tools, and lots of feedback about what you like and don't like. Our goal is to build a meaningful learning experience for you and to help you find ways of using these tools to tell stories that invite others to listen deeply.
